Wedding Venue Hire Lulworth

For a seriously stylish celebration, Bishops Cottage is available for exclusive hire. Book your wedding with us and the house and grounds will be yours to enjoy at your leisure.

This is the perfect location to mark a big, memorable day and you can tailor your package for a truly unique experience. We are just over 2 hours by train from London Waterloo, and once you’re here there is very little reason to leave this magical setting.

Book our guest house for your wedding for a celebration your guests will remember for years to come. Up to 25 guests can stay here, in our 11 bedrooms which all offer beautiful views of the area. Your party are free to come and go as they please, making full use of our facilities including the gardens, swimming pool, sun terraces and games room.

Weddings

Say your vows in a cliff-top blessing against the vista of Lulworth Cove – one of the most romantic and beautiful locations in Dorset.

Or, get married in a traditional church service in West Lulworth’s ancient parish church – just a 10 minute walk through the village. Civil ceremonies are conducted by Dorset Registrars in The Sun Room, overlooking the lawn. Then dance, eat and drink the night away, as the waves lap against the shoreline.

For larger weddings (100+), a marquee on the back lawn over the swimming pool with the sea just an arms-stretch away. For smaller celebrations (20-80), the Library Bar and Restaurant can be used for a sit-down dinner, buffet or cocktails.

For weddings with us, you're required to purchase exclusive hire of Bishops Cottage. For weekend weddings, you're required to book a minimum of 2 nights. For bank holidays, it would be 3 nights. Each day is 6k hire fee, this includes the rooms, breakfast and exclusive hire of the building, bar and grounds. We do not provide any services such as catering, photography and planning ETC.
